November – New Student Acceptance
Beacon continues to accept students for Spring 2024 on-campus and Foundations semesters. If you are a new student in Spring 2024 and have not already, please:
The Spring 2024 housing application for new students becomes available in late fall 2023. New students who have submitted their deposit and intent to enroll will receive an email with a link to the housing application. Students should complete their housing application as soon as possible. A sample housing application can be found here for reference only.
Nov. 27, 2023 – Spring Statements Available
Emailing of Spring 2024 tuition bills begins and ebills will become available in the student portal and parent portals.
If your financial aid package is not reflected on your statement, please contact our financial aid office.
NEW STUDENTS should begin to complete the required forms in the enrollment checklist prior to arrival on campus this January. Students and families should download the Immunization Form and Physical Exam Form as soon as possible in order to have it completed by your local primary care physician. Other required health forms can be completed online prior to arrival.
Nov. 29, 2023 – Last Day for 5-month payment plan
Nov. 29 is the deadline to register for the five-month interest-free monthly tuition payment plan. Parents and students can learn more and enroll online.
Dec. 4, 2023 - New Student Health Insurance
The Student Health Insurance “Wellfleet” Opt-Out waiver is available after Dec. 4. You must complete the form until you receive a confirmation code to waive the student health insurance plan. Failure to waive the health insurance will result in in the annual fee being applied to your Spring 2024 billing statement. Dec. 28, 2023 – Spring Tuition Payments are due
Spring 2024 tuition bills are due for new and returning students. (Please note: Spring 2024 Foundations semester bills are due Jan. 15, 2024.)

Dec. 28 is the deadline to register for the four-month interest-free monthly tuition payment plan. Parents and students can learn more and enroll online.
Jan. 12, 2024 – Course Schedules and Booklists
Student course schedules and booklists will be available in the student portal. Please note that new students are pre-registered for their Spring courses. Class registration is based on your application, received testing from the admissions process, and/or approved college transfer courses. First semester course schedules typically include language arts, learning essentials, Beacon Experience, and another general educational foundational class that will help meet your academic requirements. If you have questions after reviewing your course schedule, please contact centerforstudentsuccess@beaconcollege.edu.
Jan. 15, 2024 – Foundations Students (classes 01/29 – 04/26)
Bills are due for the Spring 2024 Foundations semester.
Jan. 18, 2024 – Navigator Prep Student Arrival
Navigator PREP students are welcomed to campus for check-in and pre-orientation activities.
Jan. 18, 2024 – New Student Check In
Students new to Beacon in Spring 2024 are welcomed to campus for check-in and orientation.
Jan. 18-21, 2024 – New Student Orientation
New student orientation activities will take place on campus. A preliminary New Student Orientation Schedule will be available in late Fall 2023.
Jan. 20-21, 2024 – All Student Check In (this includes off campus students)
All returning students must complete check-in on campus for the Spring 2024 semester. Please note: commuter students who live off campus are still required to check in. Finally, please be sure to cross reference the enrollment documents checklist at the top of this page before returning to campus. This will speed up your check-in process!
Jan. 31, 2024 – End of drop/add period.
The add/drop period for the Spring 2024 semester ends on Jan. 31. All Veterans’ Benefits will be certified through the federal system (typical processing time is 30-days) and Spring 2024 loan disbursements will begin. Students and families can log into the portal to view a finalized billing statement if needed. Please note: Students who drop below full-time (12 credits per semester) jeopardize their original financial aid awards and may receive notification of adjusted scholarship awards via email. Parents and students who have questions or concerns can schedule a financial aid meeting online here.
Student refunds will be processed after each disbursement once all of a student’s financial aid has been processed. Refunds cannot be processed if a student has undisbursed financial aid.
